About me

Designing Trust Through Product Experiences

Hi, I’m Jessie Huang, a product designer with a background in engineering and a strong foundation in analytical thinking.

I have 6+ years of experience across fintech, payments, and education. I have led end-to-end design for large-scale product initiatives, delivered measurable business impact, and worked on complex user scenarios for products serving hundreds of millions of users.

My work focuses on balancing business growth with user experience, using design to build deeper trust between products and people. I also bring a strong sense of design innovation, with an invention patent awarded for an innovative solution I created during my work on Douyin Pay.

In the AI era, I am actively expanding the boundaries of my design practice. I continue to explore AI products and AI-native workflows, and have independently built products through Vibe Coding, covering product definition, feature breakdown, prompt design, and interface implementation. This has helped me think beyond the design layer and understand product logic, engineering constraints, data flows, and closed-loop user experiences more holistically.

AI Startup

Design Consultant, Part-time

Responsible for the UX redesign of Haomai App and the experience iteration of agent-based features. I worked across product direction, target users, problem framing, key user journeys, interaction flows, information architecture, and visual style optimization. I also explored AI-native design workflows and independently built an interview review tool through Vibe Coding, covering product definition, feature breakdown, prompt design, and UI implementation.

ByteDance

Senior Product Designer

Owned experience optimization for Douyin Pay across the full payment journey, from checkout to payment result pages. Led key initiatives including external checkout quality upgrades and unified result page design. Also contributed to Douyin Wallet experience optimization and conversion growth, leading redesigns and iterations for Douyin Pay Points and Daily Coin Rewards.

Zhihu

Product Designer

Designed for Zhihu’s education business and contributed to building a closed-loop education ecosystem. Independently led major redesigns and key feature iterations for Zhihu Zhixuetang App and PC products. Also supported design work for Zhihu Membership and creator community products.

Visual Designer

Designed interaction flows, UI interfaces, and feature iterations for Da’erhu English, Shanbay’s children’s English learning product across app and mini-program platforms.
